Everyday I work with patients treating their pain. When I meet people they always ask what I do and what acupuncture and dry needling is helpful for. The what I do question is easy, I use acupuncture, dry needling and soft tissue manipulation (massage therapy) to treat painful conditions like low back and neck pain. I feel that the WHY of what I do is really a more important question I treat people for one very simple reason, I truly enjoy helping people get out of pain and improve their functional movement. Here at ABR Acupuncture my goal is to get my patients back to their activities and life as quickly as possible. I use acupuncture, dry needling and soft tissue manipulation because I feel that these treatment methods along with some corrective exercises are the most effective tools for treating movement dysfunction and pain.
Jesse Andreas graduated from Southwest Acupuncture College in Albuquerque, New Mexico with a Masters in Oriental Medicine, and is certified in oriental medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. From an early age, Jesse had a profound appreciation for Eastern philosophy, exploring Taoism, Buddhism, and Hinduism. He studied Chinese martial arts as a child and was fascinated with the concept of Qi and its capacity to improve health and treat disease.
While still in his twenties, Jesse cured himself of a number of chronic diseases using acupuncture and herbal medicine, as well as diet and lifestyle modifications. This led to years of study of natural healing methods, both in and out of school, as he realized this was to be a lifelong calling. Jesse feels there is no greater way to serve other people than to help them restore their health. He specializes in treating pain, anxiety/depression, digestive issues, men’s and women’s health, and the more complex and challenging medical cases. “My belief is that anyone can be well, and no one should feel hopeless.”
In his free time, Jesse enjoys reading, music, gardening, and his cat India.
WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
I came into Rob’s office with severe tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow to the point where I couldn’t use my arm for normal day to day anything. Within a few weeks I was able to regain full function and range of motion and gradually became completely pain-free. I was very skeptical about acupuncture but Rob works wonders, highly recommended!!
Rob Balkind is Top-Tier when it comes to dry needling. I was skeptical and scared of the process seeing i had never done dry needling before but once i walked in the office, the atmosphere of the office and the communication from Rob put me at ease and i was even able to pick my own music to hear during my appointment! I would highly recommend first timers here!
Rob is extremely skilled, knowledgeable, and professional. I have had long term back pain and Rob provides lasting pain relief. His personality puts you at ease, which is very important. I have always come away from each session more informed and so pleased with my outcome. There is no one I would rather see than Rob, and I highly recommend ABR Acupuncture!!!!
